This alarm protects against the threat of both smoke and carbon monoxide. It contains a photoelectric sensor for smoke detection. This alarm is equipped with a a 10-Year Backup Battery for long lasting operation. Crystal-clear voice alerts tell you exactly why your alarm is sounding so you can react quickly. Versions of this smoke alarm with a standard 9V backup battery (LS-SMICO100BRK) and 10-year backup battery only (LS-SMCO210VBRK) are also available.
