The VIKING Norsafe Midget-500 MKII is a U.S. Coast Guard–approved, SOLAS-compliant rigid rescue boat designed for rapid response, towing, and person-overboard operations in commercial, military, and offshore environments. This 6-person fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) rescue boat meets the latest international and U.S. standards, making it ideal for deployment on SOLAS vessels, offshore platforms, coast guard fleets, and ARFF water rescue teams.

This compact rescue craft measures 5.1 m (16.7 ft) x 2.07 m (6.79 ft) and is powered by a Honda BF40 outboard engine. It includes a built-in self-righting system, has a demonstrated towing capacity of 208 kg (458 lbs), and is approved for use with the Norsafe K4-D release mechanism.
